Optimist foundation multiplied the effect of the Y-JINGER project in other transborder regions under the European Territorial Cooperation Programmе Bulgaria-Greece. The Programme enhances economic and social cohesion, encouraging balance development and promoting competitiveness. The project of Optimist foundation is focused on the social entrepreneurship.

Results of the administrative compliance and eligibility check of the First Call for Proposals under the INTERREG - IPA CBC Programme Bulgaria – the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, in accordance with Decision of the Joint Monitoring Committee from 14th April 2016.

Unfortunately, the first joint project proposal didn’t pass administrative compliance and was rejected.

First Call for proposals of the Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation

Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria in cooperation with Ministry of Local Self-Government of the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia аnnounced the First Call for project proposals under the Interreg-IPA Cross-border Cooperation Bulgaria- former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia Programme, with aim to improve the cross-border cooperation between two countries. The Programme is co-financed from the Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance II (IPA II) of the European Union.
The overall objective of the Programme is to intensify cross-border cooperation between the people and institutions of the region in order to jointly address common challenges and exploit untapped potentials for development of the border region through effective use of resources.
Optimist Foundation and Foundation Inventivnost continue their collaboration and prepared two proposals under Priority Axis 3: Competitiveness.

Macedonian marketHow to enter the Macedonian market represents a guide aimed to familiarize the reader with the basic data for the Republic of Macedonia and Southeast development planning region, especially in terms of establishing and running a business, showing the national policies and regulations in this area.

The content of the guide consists 3 sections:

• The first covered general and relevant data for the Republic of Macedonia in order to give a closer picture of its location and resources.
• The second part covers general and relevant data for Southeast development planning region in the country in order to give you a closer picture and information about the potential, resources and opportunities in the region.
• The third part includes all relevant information about how to access the Macedonian market. This section includes procedures for establishing a company and starting a business with an overview of the legislation and the business environment.

Online Technologies in Support of Entrepreneurship

platformIn the project "Joint implementation of innovative tools for new generation entrepreneurs and professionals development " (JINGER), funded by the IPA Program CBC Bulgaria, FYROM, "Kauzi" foundation presented as a good practice to its partners from both countries its Methodology for counseling of young entrepreneurs and organizing Youth entrepreneurial marketplace. Experts of the organization have just completed a web-based platform for e-training for start-up entrepreneurs and young people looking for a job. The platform can be found at www.y-jinger.eu. It includes modules for self-preparation "Entrepreneurship" and "Career development" and allows cross-border career exchange and starting your own business in the region.

B2B meeting of young entrepreneurs in Gotse Delchev

strumitca-2On 21 and 22 June 2014 in Gotse Delchev held the second meeting of young entrepreneurs in Bulgaria and Macedonia. The aim was the establishment of sustainable business contacts between budding entrepreneurs start or from the cross - Bulgaria-Macedonia. At the meeting were presented the funding opportunities for starting own business or social idea in the European Union. A good practices were shown for the SMEs financed by public funds.

The first B2B meeting of young entrepreneurs was held in Strumica

strumitca-1On 7 and 8 June 2014 in Strumica held B2b meeting of young entrepreneurs in the border region, which was attended by 10 young people from Macedonia and 10 young people from Bulgaria. The main objective of the meeting was the youth on both sides of the border to encourage start-ups and enable them to find partners with similar interests.
